Pauline McKenzie

Pauline McKenzie is a Senior Training Specialist at the National SafeCare Training and Research Center (NSTRC), which is housed in the Mark Chaffin Center for Healthy Development in the School of Public Health at Georgia State University, where she conducts SafeCare trainings and orientations and supports faculty with other projects. As a Training Specialist, she has trained social service providers in Georgia, California, New York, the United Kingdom, Belarus and Australia.

In December of 2014 Pauline successfully completed Georgia State University’s Executive Leadership Academy, sponsored by the University’s Advancement of Women program.

Prior to joining the staff at Georgia State, Pauline has worked with a diverse clientele which include groups, couples, individuals and families. She has facilitated workshops and trainings in effective discipline techniques, parenting skills, pre-marital support and divorce recovery. She is the founder of Inspired Lives Counseling LLC where she promotes holistic healing through the treatment of mind, and spirit for balance, wellness and improved quality of life. Pauline is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Professional Counselors’ Supervisor in the state of Georgia. As a passionate advocate for healthy families, she hopes to support the eradication of child-maltreatment through her work with social service providers. A creed that Pauline lives by is her mission to change the world, one heart, one soul at a time.

Pauline is a native of the United Kingdom and has been a citizen of the United States since 1989. She is the mother of four grown children – two daughters, one son and one step-daughter, also the proud grandmother of two.
